One reason I wasn't likely to like the show too much is that I already follow what's going on in the poker world, so much of this was rehashing to me. Unlike online, I can't move on to the next article if I already know something. But I wouldn't have liked the show anyway.

PokerNews.com opined on whether the show will survive or not. Friedman thinks it will because of chemistry, writing, and a wide variety of content. Gordon thinks it won't because poker news (though I don't agree that it's a poker news show) has too small an audience.

I was completely bored with the show, and deleted my DRV subscription. There was very little poker news (they didn't even mention Isildur1, the biggest recent story to me). Saying that WSOP Main Event final table ratings were only down by 1/10 of a percent was a major error. It was lightweight stuff, and seemed to be targeted to an audience of people with a lot of time on their hands, which isn't me.

Part 2 of the Sebok/Huff interview has even less content.

Joe Sebok and Scott Huff did an interview with PokerNews.com. The initial run is 13 weeks. The only other thing I found interesting was that they're conscious that they have to move away from appealing to people who know a lot about poker (e.g. get the inside jokes and backstories).
