Bodog To Rebrand US Site: First Skin on Bodog Poker Network

Bodog will rebrand its US operations to an unknown name in 2012, becoming the first "skin" on the Bodog Poker Network. When asked if the new site will be on Bodog's network and share the player pool, Bodog representative Rebecca Liggero confirmed: “Yes... the upcoming Bodog network has always planned to accept non-Bodog branded sites that meet the requirements of the network.” Bodog UK's CEO Patrik Selin explained the the change was "in order to ensure the brand’s expansion is not affected by negative perceptions," especially in light of Bodog having been granted a UK license recently.

The announcement on CalvinAyre.com says the US skin will continue to operate with a Kahnawake Gaming Commission license. American players on Bodog.eu (until recently Bodog.com) "will have the option to switch to a new MMGG brand should they wish but MMGG confirms it’s business as usual."

PokerWorld and TheGreek Leave US Market

PokerWorld and TheGreek, two sister companies with CakePoker Network skins, have notified members via email that they are pulling out of the US market. They are directing players to withdrawal their balances from the cashier. Their poker rooms had been open since as far back as 2005, and were some of the fastest and most reliable rooms for player cashouts recently and for their entire history. This is likely to take a large hit out of the Cake Network's traffic which has seen a 30% jump since Full Tilt lost their licenses and had their sites closed.

TheGreek sportsbook accounts and pending wagers will be transferred to HeritageSports, an invitation only book with a good reputation. There is no report of poker accounts being transferred.

UseMyWallet / QuickTender Offers One Time Cashout Until August 15th

The QuickTender website (home of UseMyWallet) has come back online, and customers can request one full withdrawal between July 1 through August 15, 2011, after following their specific instructions:
As previously advised in order for customers to have their balances refunded, they will need to have a Euro currency bank account as we can no longer make any payments into a USD denominated account. We urge you to obtain a EURO denominated bank account in order to receive your funds.

From the 1st July and until the 15th August you will be able to log into the QuickTender site at www.quicktender.com and to request a withdrawal using the ‘Contact Us’ section. Before selecting contact us, you should first login as this ensures your account name and registered email is copied and also the page is now secure (if you select contact us before logging in the page, neither your account information is copied, or the page is secure via HTTPS Socket Level Security).

In this contact us section, you should select ‘Withdrawing Funds from your account’ from the drop down subject menu and in the space below, immediately provide with your EURO bank account details (clearly including any intermediatory bank details if necessary) in the following format:

Bank Account Name (this must match the family name that your QuickTender account is registered in)
Bank Name
Bank Address
Bank Identification Code (BIC also known as Swift Code)
Bank Account Number / International Bank Account Number (IBAN)

Please note we will not send any funds that claim to be destined for a EURO account to a 9 digit Fedwire/ABA routing number. If you obtain a EURO account from a USA based bank they will be able to provide you with the BIC/Swift Code and /or an International Bank Account Number (IBAN).

As previously mentioned, withdrawals can only be made to EURO bank accounts and will only be sent in the name of the registered QuickTender account holder. We cannot support 3rd party withdrawals.

To be clear, your withdrawal will be processed from your USD QuickTender account and QuickTender will convert it to the EURO equivalent amount based on the prevailing exchange rate.

Once we have successfully processed your withdrawal, we will advise you by email of the EURO amount and the date you should expect to receive it. Only funds sent to a EURO bank account are fully protected. We will not be held liable for any funds that are not received due to them not being sent to a EURO bank account in the name of the QuickTender account holder.

If you want your funds you need to act quickly to open a EURO denominated bank account and request a withdrawal to it prior to the 15th August 2011.

Unfortunately, anyone who had a pending US withdrawal they never received cannot be reimbursed though. Their withdrawals are said to be seized by the US Attorney's office, and a claim must be placed through them.

Full Tilt Loses French License, and an Update from Alderney

FullTiltPoker.fr, operating as Rekop Limited had it's French gaming license suspended by the ARJEL regulatory authority. Reasons given were because the .fr website has remained down since Alderney shut down Full Tilt, and no French players have been able to access their funds. Ray Bitar is listed as sole owner.

The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) confirmed Full Tilt is negotiating with "a third party concerning the prospective refinancing of Full Tilt Poker" in a new statement released July 5th. Their goal is "to enable the site to re-open to its current and prospective players."
