  1. Barry Greenstein is expected to do another charitable fundraiser based on him saying a phrase on High Stakes Poker. He says "I sent a link to the Bing Blang Blaow video to Mori Eskandani, the producer of HSP, letting him know what I might end up saying." Barry seems to know almost everyone in the poker industry, including High Stakes Poker producer Mori Eskandani, so the fact that he thinks there will be a next season would seem to be a pretty reliable indicator.

    What is Bing Blang Blaow?

"legendary $.25/.50 heads up no limit player" (quote) ch3ckraise started a thread on 2+2 saying:

This is what I copy & paste into the chat every time I stack someone @ 50 NL HU, which is about 50% of the time.

    ch3ckraise: BING BLANG BLAOW
ch3ckraise: CH3CK RAISE IN THA HOUSE
    ch3ckraise: I JUST WON $50.00 FROM YOU
ch3ckraise: U COULD HAVE USED IT TO BUY SOME FOOD
    ch3ckraise: BUT YOU CANT NOW
ch3ckraise: CUZ IMMA CASH IT OUT
ch3ckraise: AND RUB IT ON MY TITT1ES
    tilted1: wtf
    ....

That thread has 285,000 views as I write this. A month later this video was posted on YouTube, and it really started taking off.

What are the Barry Greenstein/High Stakes Poker fundraising drives?

Poker players donated over $50,000 to Barry's favorite charity, Children Inc., in gratitude for him saying "lol donkaments" on High Stakes Poker. For the next season, there was a lot of discussion of what he should should say, and they agreed on "math is idiotic," a phrase made famous (read the last post) by his son Joe Sebok. It wasn't a great fundraising success, however. This time a movement started on 2+2 to get Barry to say Bing Blang Blaow, and he eventually responded.

  10. From Poker News Daily:

While waiting to head into the “High Stakes Poker” suite, Laak explained the stance of Executive Producer Mori Eskandani towards prop betting in Season 6: “The prop bets where people would guess on cards, for example, they’ve been trying to get rid of that. Mori is trying to steer towards less betting at all. The bottom line is that he doesn’t want viewers at home to be bogged down with players prop betting in addition to poker.” Prop bets during Season 5 revolved around push-ups, movie ratings, and hole cards.
