World Poker Tour Back, Streaming Poker With Hole Cards

The World Poker Tour returns to TV with season 7 on Fox Sports Net. Fox Sports Net is a collection of regional channels, so you'll need to search a programming guide to find the day and time it airs in your area, which may change from week to week. This week's time for each channel is in the comments below.

The World Cup of Poker will be streamed live over the internet with hole cards on Tuesday. That's just one of the four days of programming from the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) that will be streamed on PokerStars.tv. The full schedule is:
  • World Cup of Poker V, Tuesday, Jan 6 at 1 PM;
  • PCA $25k High Roller event, Thursday, Jan 8, at noon;
  • PCA Main Event TV table, Friday, Jan 9, at noon; and
  • PCA Main Event final table, Saturday, Jan 10, at noon.
Next week's Poker After Dark is a tournament featuring Todd Brunson, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Gordon, Gabe Kaplan, Cory Zeidman, and David Grey.

This week's newsbites:
  • the Poker Bay is having technical problems but its operator says it will be back soon;
  • Doyle provided another update on his High Stakes Poker play;
  • Phil Hellmuth wrote about a couple of hands he played on the upcoming season of Poker After Dark; and
  • We corrected our WSOP Europe broadcast schedule. Poker PROductions, which produces HSP and PAD, is doing this year's WSOPE shows.

  3. A WPT spokesperson says: "To make it easy for viewers to find their local WPT timeslot and FSN channel, we have created a WPT Channel Finder, launching on www.worldpokertour.com later this week (a technical snag prevented us from launching a few weeks ago, as intended). The Channel Finder will allow fans to search for all WPT listings available in their area and on their cable provider. In the meantime, we recommend that you contact your cable provider or check your local listings."
