The Million Dollar Poker Cash Game, from the Aussie Millions tournament in January, will air on Fox Sports Net in March. 10 players will buy in for a minimum of $1 million Australian (about $680,000).

ReplyDeleteTom Dwan practically begged Hansen to sit down and play at the Million Dollar cash game at the Aussie Millions today. Hansen refused, saying that he had been drinking - Dwan offered to drink heavily in order to "catch up", but only if Hansen sat at the table.
They started off with Tom Dwan and Patrik Antonius playing $1000/2000 heads-up NLHE/PLO. They moved to $500/$1000 and added Jamie Pickering, Andrew Robl, Phil Laak, and Niki Jedlicka.

ReplyDeleteOnly Dwan and Antonius were willing to play for the million. The rest of the game was a $200K AUD buyin.
ReplyDeleteThe HA rotation ran for the entire game, changing up every 20 hands. I'm looking forward to seeing PLO on TV.
