High Stakes Poker Season Five Option Picked Up By GSN

GSN has picked up the option to air season five of High Stakes Poker. They aren't providing any additional information at this time, but I'll keep you informed of any developments.

    - About a week ago, someone claiming to be a GSN board member was making posts around the internet (1, 2) touting High Stakes Poker's return. GSN's PR department confirmed to someone else that these were fradulent posts.

  2. AJ Benza told Pokerati in an email "Looks like we’ll start taping in early September." I believe he's been wrong about this kind of thing in the past however.
