Streaming video coverage of the World Series of Poker starts tomorrow. 17 events will be streamed, with hole cards. None of the streamed events will be broadcast on TV. Harrah's is charging $49.95 for a subscription. A stream of the final table of the Main Event is planned, but will be sold separately. Also included for your $49.95 are a daily recap show, a talk show five days a week, and, later, coverage of 12 WSOP Circuit events and the new WSOP Europe. Torrents of the streams may become available after a day or two, and last year people quickly found that Harrah's stream of the Main Event was available for free (if they make the same mistake this year I'll let you know promptly). The schedule of 17 events to be streamed is below. Earlier they streamed two WSOP Circuit events as a trial run, and I watched some of one. It was a pretty poor broadcast, so I hope they've made some improvements.
Sirius Satellite Radio will also be covering many events (see schedule). PokerNews.com has the contract to provide live web updates, and their news articles are a good summary of what's happening at the WSOP.

If you want to follow what's going on at the WSOP without spending too much time, I'm actually preferring Bodog Beat to PokerNews.com or my old favorite for live coverage PokerWire.
