World Poker Tour Moves to GSN Next Season

The World Poker Tour will move from the Travel Channel to GSN next season, after the Travel Channel declined to exercise its option to pick up the show for another season. GSN will pay $300,000 per episode, down from about $500,000 currently. GSN also committed to spend at least $3,000,000 per season to market the show. Much of televised poker these days is time buys (the show pays for air time), so WPTE is fortunate to still be able to get a fee.
