The World Poker Tour returns to the Travel Channel for its fifth season on Wednesday, April 4, at 9 PM. Reruns of new episodes will air at midnight Wednesday and noon Saturday. The first show is the Mirage Poker Showdown; David Williams, Robert Mizrachi, and Harry Demetriou made the final table. The World Poker Tour is well worth watching, as it's a polished production of some of the biggest tournaments in poker. Its major weakness is that they accelerate the blind structure for the television tables, making it a bit of an all-in fest.
The final two episodes of the US Poker Championship air Saturday at 10 and 11 PM on ESPN2.
There's another episode of the Aussie Millions Cash Game Invitational Saturday night at 11 PM on Fox Sports. It reruns at 5 PM on Wednesday (always remember to check local listings for Fox Sports since they have multiple regional affiliates). The Aussie Millions tournament will then start running on Saturday nights.
Poker After Dark is showing a rerun of the poker analysts' episode next week.
In the past I've recommended that you download torrents of the European Poker Tour, a series of major European events. Their biggest event, the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo, is going on right now and you can watch it at EPTLive.com. I watched some of their last broadcast, and it was good for a show without hole-card cams. Lee Jones provided commentary, and the quality of the live stream was perhaps the best I've seen. Here's the schedule of broadcasts:
Day four, TV table: Saturday, March 31th, 9 AM ET.
Day five, TV table: Sunday, April 1st, 9 AM ET.
Day six, final table: Monday, April 2nd, 11 AM ET.
