The Pro-Am Poker Equalizer is entertaining, but more a reality TV show than real poker. They don't show all the hole cards; the short-handed "shootout" (winner-take-all) format is rarely played in the real world; and the stacks are short, making this an all-in fest. Phil Gordon's superb commentary, however, single-handedly saves this show. I give it 3 1/2 stars.
