New Card Identification System an Improvement On Hole-card Cams?
Sagentia and iKnowledge have developed Perlego, a system that creates hole-card graphics in real time by using cards printed with infrared-visible ink (press release). Most poker shows use hole-card cams, which are labor-intensive and can miss data. RFID has also been used to gather hole card information in real time for a few poker shows. The creators of Perlego claim it offers a significant cost advantage over the traditional production method.
